Our Story

Button Up Baby is a small independent business, based in Havant, Hampshire. Opening in April 2016 with no previous retail experience, armed only with a credit card and a passion for customer service (something we felt was lacking in a lot of national and international chain stores), we started our journey. Listening to customers and learning from our interactions along the way has been key to our growth and any constructive criticism has been accepted with open arms.

Our director, Crystal's, true passion, however, lies in the world of design and manufacture. Specifically, exclusive UK manufacture. Incredibly, she has been blessed with meeting the most incredible seamstress; Lyn, based right here in Havant.

Lyn's passionate ambition to design and manufacture baby's and children's clothing at exceptionally competitive prices and with over 50+ years of experience, makes a formidable team. It gives us here at "Button Up Baby", the opportunity to bring the most stunning, UK handmade clothes to your little ones' wardrobe.
